Our Community

Dear community members,

It brings me great joy and pleasure to welcome you to The Mission Preparatory School's website. As the leader of this incredible institution, I am excited to partner with our youth, educators, and caregivers to deliver an equitable, and joyful school experience for:

Every child, every minute, every day!

Our mission to equip students with the knowledge, skills, and strength of character needed to succeed in college and serve as leaders in their communities, is a statement we model in every interaction, and with every student. We strive to create a learning environment where every child can thrive and become a leader in their own right. With an unwavering commitment to academic excellence and personal growth, we aim to empower each student to reach their full potential.

At Mission Prep, we understand the critical role that education plays in shaping the future of our community, and we are committed to providing a free, public, college-preparatory school that meets the highest academic standards. We are committed to being an antiracist institution, where every student feels valued and respected. We believe that a diverse student body and faculty enriches our learning environment and prepares our students for success in a global society.

We are proud of our rigorous academic program, which emphasizes literacy and mastery of essential skills and content knowledge. Through strategic academic support structures, we accelerate student achievement and lay the foundation for every child to excel in and graduate from college.

We invite you to explore our website and learn more about The Mission Preparatory School. We look forward to partnering with you to help your child succeed academically and personally.

Sincerely,

Cynthia Jerez, M. Ed.

Every child. Every minute. Every day.
