Enrollment

Mission Preparatory School is a non-sectarian, tuition-free public school serving grades TK-8th grade.. We admit all grade-level eligible pupils who wish to attend up to the school’s capacity through a public random drawing (“lottery”). 

Our application process opens in the fall where families are encouraged to apply through an online system or in person. Applications stay open until a week before the lottery goes live. Families are able to watch through a live lottery where results are shared. Each grade has a set number of spots available depending on our current enrollment. Students whose name is not called for our open seats, are then automatically put on the waiting list. Families are then notified of their students status for the next school year (if a student is put on the waiting list, student’s waitlist number will also be shared).

Eligibility for the 2025-2026 School Year

Students must turn 5 years old by September 1, 2023 in order to be eligible for Kindergarten.

Students who will have their fifth birthday between September 2, 2023 and April 2, 2024 are eligible for a Transitional Kindergarten (TK) program for the 2023-24 school year.
